Dr Richard HalvorsenDr Richard Halvorsen sees parents for consultations when you will have an opportunity to discuss any concerns you may have about vaccines. If you wish, he will help you draw up a personalised immunisation schedule for your child. Richard offers consultations by telephone or zoom on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. He will be retiring at the end of 2021.
Dr Gurpreet GillGurpreet trained at Barts in London. She did postgraduate training in General Practice and Paediatrics. Gurpreet has a diploma in child health and has a special interest in children's health. She offers consultations in person, in central London, or on the telephone and will take over from Dr Richard Halvorsen as clinic director at the start of 2022.
Nurse Heli KorteHeli trained as a nurse and health visitor in Finland where she worked before moving to London. She was our first BabyJabs nurse, working with us from 2001 to 2006. She also has extensive experience working in hospitals and as a community and district nurse. Heli returns as the senior BabyJabs nurse and runs vaccine clinics on most weekdays. She has two grown up daughters.
Nurse Narinder SinclairNarinder is the senior practice nurse at a central London General Practice. She qualified as a nurse in 1995 and has completed numerous postgraduate courses including children's immunisation in which she has considerable experience. Narinder works in our busy Saturday clinics.
Nurse Amanda OkunolaAmanda heads up BabyJabs services in Manchester. She qualified in 2003, initially working with premature babies. She has been a Nurse Practitioner since 2006 and has experience working in an NHS Nurse Led Walk-in Centre, an inner city GP surgery and a University Health Service. Amanda is a non-medical prescriber & currently writing a dissertation to complete an Advanced Professional Practice Masters. Over the last 5 years she has worked as an Independent ANP in General Practices and urgent care centres throughout the UK, joining Samedaydoctor in London in March 2014.. Amanda is married and has two small children aged 2 and 5.
Nurse Jane RiselyJane is an Advanced Nurse Practitioner who has over 20 years experience of working in urban GP practices. She trained at Kings College Hospital London before qualifying as a Nurse Practitioner in 2004.
Jane is highly qualified and has extensive experience of working with children and babies of all ages. She has worked in GP surgeries, NHS walk-in centres and in the community.
Jane works mainly in our Saturday clinics.
