Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most commonly asked questions about antibody blood tests. If you can’t see the information you need, let us know and we’ll be happy to help.

Antibody blood test FAQs

Antibody levels can be checked for immunity from six weeks after a vaccine is given or a course of vaccines is completed.

The blood tests are not done at BabyJabs. They’re done on our behalf at:

The Doctors Laboratory
76 Wimpole Street
London W1G 9RT
Tel: 020 7307 7383

The Doctors Laboratory is situated in the heart of the West End. The nearest tube stations are Baker Street, Regent’s Park, Oxford Circus and Bond Street.

Please note that you will need to speak to a clinician at BabyJabs before you can get the blood test done to ensure that the correct test is being ordered. This can be done over the phone.

You can go for the blood test at any time during the lab’s opening hours once you have received the blood test request from us.

You can find details of The Doctors Laboratory’s opening hours and other information here.

You can pay for the blood test when you come to the BabyJabs clinic or when requesting the blood test over the phone. You will not have to pay anything at the lab where the blood test is done.

The results will be emailed to you from our clinic. Time frames vary depending on which immunity test is being done.

You’re welcome to attend a service closer to where you live, if available. If you require a referral letter from us, there will be a £30 charge for this.
